Soccer supporters tend to be mostly the passionate type. This tendency is strong not just in Japan, but worldwide. It might even be the spark that ignited the recent “idol fandom” boom. By the way, signs saying “No Entry for Non-Authorized Personnel” are common at stadiums. For supporters and fans, isn’t it only natural to want to enter those locker rooms at least once? For such people, a locker room with a “No Entry” sign is, in a way, a forbidden door. Enter a pair of supporters—a man and a woman—who managed to sneak into one such dressing room. Unfortunately for them, no staff were present. Disappointment set in, yet despite the uncertainty of when someone might walk in, they suddenly began engaging in ×× behavior. While utterly bizarre… their psychology isn’t entirely incomprehensible. It bears a striking resemblance to the “viral videos” frequently seen on social media, if you catch my drift. Interpreted this way, their motives become somewhat understandable. While certainly not praiseworthy, it vividly reflects our times.
