New Year’s Eve. The university dorm is completely empty because the students have all gone home for the holidays. On such a night, Rui—the only one still pursuing a career in show business—returns to the dorm after appearing on a New Year’s Eve special. The dorm director, whose family life has grown cold. Rui, who harbors anxieties about her future in the entertainment industry. Though their ages and circumstances differ, they are both lonely souls who happen to find themselves alone together.
