Movie Information:
Yoshino is a plain-looking office worker living a quiet life in a suburban apartment complex. One day, Riri, a flashy, “yankee”-style gal, moves into the apartment next door. At first, Yoshino thought she’d be a troublesome neighbor and consciously avoided her, but one day, after he helped Riri—who had screamed at the sight of a cockroach in her room—the distance between them suddenly shrinks. “…I’ll make sure to thank you for all your kindness,” she says as she steps into Yoshino’s room. From then on, she starts hanging out there all the time—acting aloof on the surface but taking care of him and even acting clingy at times.
