Hikaru, a wife in her second year of marriage, had started working as a delivery assistant at a local distribution center. That day, too, she was riding in the passenger seat of the delivery van, rushing around to deliver packages to both businesses and individuals with a bright, energetic smile. With her husband’s income having dropped due to the recession, Hikaru was working hard at this delivery job with a positive attitude to help support the household.
