Narusawa is a salaryman struggling with poor sales performance. He has never been married and, naturally, has no children. Working alongside him is Otsuka, a colleague from the same hiring class who consistently tops the sales charts. Although Otsuka is always making snide remarks, Narusawa endures them silently, smiling and letting them slide… One day, on his way home from work, he was invited to Otsuka’s house, where he met Otsuka’s only daughter, Mikan.
