Movie Information:
Maki was set to marry a man with a son. Her husband’s stepson, Masashi, refused to accept Maki—his father’s new wife—as his mother, and even though they lived together, he kept his distance with a cold demeanor. Wanting to build a closer relationship with Masashi, Maki stayed by his side to nurse him back to health when he came down with a high fever. Realizing Maki’s kindness, Masashi gradually begins to open up to her. Then, one night, Masashi asks Maki for a kiss, saying his previous mother used to do the same.
