It had been three years since I married my wife, Suzu. As a magazine editor, I had been entrusted with a special feature project featuring model Reiya and photographer Mr. Oshima. However, on the day of the shoot, we lost contact with the female model. Since the stand-in was running significantly late, and I couldn’t cancel the shoot, I called my wife to the set at Mr. Oshima’s instruction—even though I wasn’t convinced it was the right thing to do. Yet, the moment he saw my wife, Mr. Oshima’s demeanor changed completely. The shoot gradually veered off course from the original plan, and an atmosphere began to permeate the set where no one dared to speak out.
