The Japanese economy just won’t pick up. Konno moved to Tokyo to look for work but couldn’t land her dream job, so she took a position at an adult video production company with the mindset of just killing time. There, she began working as a manager. She started the job casually at first, but the workplace and environment were good, and since she’s naturally serious, she quickly rose to prominence and is now living a fulfilling life. However, since female managers are rare, she seems to get invited out for drinks or hit on by the presidents and directors of the companies she does business with.
