Elegant young wives living in a Tokyo high-rise with their high-earning husbands. In that building, there’s an unwritten rule that whenever a new resident moves in, they hold a “welcome party” that doubles as a King’s Game. After the monthly board meeting, with nearly everyone in attendance, things took an unexpected turn! Young office ladies, young wives with kids, and childless wives—they were all in the mood and suddenly blurted out, “Let’s welcome the new resident by playing the King’s Game!” Since I was the only man there, naturally, I had a great time!!
