Movie Information:
The Kodama couple runs a ryokan in a certain hot spring resort in Northern Kanto. Rena, the wife, married Yugo, who was her boss back when she was an office worker. Later, Yugo took over his family’s ryokan, and and now the couple runs the business together. However, due to the economic downturn, the inn’s financial situation had reached a critical point. To make matters worse, Kawagoe—a man who had been working at the inn since the previous owner’s time—began causing the couple serious headaches. One day, Kita—a loan shark to whom Kawagoe had borrowed money—shows up demanding repayment.
