Aoi, the mother-in-law, visits her daughter’s home for the first time in a while. With her calm and gentle personality, she is warmly welcomed by her daughter, Chiaki, and her husband, Tatsuya. However, during a casual conversation, she discovers that there is a “nighttime problem” between the couple. One night, Tatsuya happens to catch a glimpse of his mother-in-law and finds himself strongly drawn to her, developing an uncontrollable desire. Soon after, the distance between Aoi and Tatsuya rapidly closes in an unexpected way, and they move toward a relationship they know they shouldn’t have. Though initially bewildered, Aoi’s feminine desires are gradually aroused. Meanwhile, Tatsuya, trapped in an unfulfilling marriage, finds himself increasingly drawn to his mother-in-law.
